This movie is SriDev’s comeback film after 5 years last being English Vinglish 2012. And its Sridevi's 300th film being released in the 50th year of her film career. Movie is set to hit the silver screen on July 7, the same date that Sridevi debuted in the industry with her first release in 1967.

The final schedule of the film has been shifted from Delhi to Bangkok to avoid controversy as Pakistani actors Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui are part of the film when there is already tension between the two countries.
